'Did you sit on a booster seat?' Mark Consuelos defends his short stature against Kelly Ripa's shade for filming 'WWHL' with Rebecca Romijn
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, represent the kind of couples who have a swift transition from being best friends to spouses. It is clearly visible in the subtle and laughable digs that the couple keeps taking at one another, all the while displaying their love. While Kelly may have made fun of Mark for his short height, she also called him "short king."
The short stature of Mark and Kelly have been the talk of the town ever since the duo got stuck behind a tall family while watching a Broadway play. The couple continued to have a back-and-forth banter about whether or not to weigh in on the drama emerging in the reality series 'Vanderpump Rules'.

Mark appeared in 'WWHL' with Rebecca
The funny remarks made by Kelly for Mark came soon after he mentioned that his co-guest on 'WWHL' was Rebecca Romijn, whom he referred to as 'tall' and 'stunning', reports Decider. Kelly was quick to mention that Romijn was a model before she became an actress. With models always having a tall stature, it is probable that Mark may have felt a little conscious while sitting beside her. Both Romijn and Mark seemed to have a great time as they managed to share some thought-provoking remarks on parenting and what celebrities should or should not do.

Even though Mark was clearly instructed to not weigh in on the drama taking place in 'Vanderpump Rules' he could not help himself and proudly announced himself 'Team Tom Schwartz' all the while jokingly advising Tom Sandoval on how an individual should cheat their partners. While fans were not excited about the remarks made by Mark, but they did realise that it was all done in good health.
Kelly throws a shade at Mark
Kelly did not waste a single moment to throw a shade at her husband's height and despite being 5'8″, he was asked whether he required a booster seat to level up to Romijn. Mark immediately got defensive and without derailing the conversation any further, he claimed, "so she’s all legs. Or so they say. I didn’t know this." He also tried to be funny by claiming that both of them were of the same height once they sat down to talk with Andy Cohen. It is almost as if the length of their upper body is same, which makes both of them look like they are of same height when they sit down.
