'Manifest' Season 1 : Fiona is the only one who does not receive the 'Callings', and we might know why

She was the mastermind behind the mirror neurons, but she might not be the mastermind behind the disappearance of the plane
UPDATED JAN 23, 2019

Fiona Clarke has been the most bizarre part of NBC's 'Manifest', and the character disappeared from the show just as abruptly as she had appeared. Played by Francesca Faridany, Fiona was initially expected by fans to be the missing link to the plane's mystery. However, she turned out to be this dubious character whose identity seemed irresolute for the most part.

Although she was introduced as a scientist, her research on mirror neurons made her the chief suspect behind the kidnapping of the 11 passengers of Montego Air Flight 828. While most of the passengers, who hadn't aged a day were hearing these strange voices in their heads they interpreted as "Callings", Fiona was the only one to have never received these "Callings".
