Manhunt: The chilling murder spree that inspired British crossover series on London serial killer
If you're a fan of well made, realistic and fast-paced crime dramas, then Acorn TV's new British crossover 'Manhunt' might just be up your alley. The three episode mini-series follows London Metropolitan police detective Colin Sutton as he chases after an extremely cunning serial killer, who keeps leaving a trail of bodies through the city.
However, what makes the show even more chilling is the fact that it's actually based on a real-life murder spree by a serial killer in one of the most happening cities of the world.
The real-life inspiration
On 19 August 2004, 22-year-old French student Amelie Delagrange was found in Twickenham Green, London with her head battered and bleeding.
No one knew what had happened - she was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
