LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A loose adaptation of the 1985 movie of the same name, 'Teen Wolf' is an American supernatural teen drama television series created by Jeff Davis for MTV. The focus of 'Teen Wolf' is Scott McCall, a high school student in Beacon Hills, a made-up town in California. The six-season television show premiered on June 5, 2011, and ended on September 24, 2017.

Shelley Hennig's Malia Tate debuted in season three of 'Teen Wolf'. She became a part of the group and assisted in expanding Scott McCall's social circle beyond his long-time classmates. Her blunt demeanor and tendency to prioritize her own survival over everyone else provided the series with a fresh dynamic.

Malia Tate, a werecoyote by birth, is Peter Hale and Corrine's biological child, as well as Henry Tate's adopted daughter. Malia narrowly escaped an assassination attempt by Corrine that resulted in a car accident before the start of the series. As a result of the crash, Malia experienced her first coyote shapeshift, which caused her to lose control and accidentally kill her younger sister Kylie and her adoptive mother Evelyn Tate. After that, Malia spent eight years living in the bush as a completely transformed coyote. In Season 3, Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski find Malia, who is then returned to human form by Scott's alpha roar and reunited with her father. She then enrolls in Beacon Hills High School, joins Scott's Pack, and becomes Stiles' girlfriend. The pack then assists her in reintegrating into human society.

Powers and Abilities

Advanced Shapeshifting: Malia, like other werecoyotes, seems to be able to transform entirely into a coyote. After being returned to her human form in 2011, Malia has recently rediscovered how to fully transform into a coyote, although she is still learning how to use the full range of her werecoyote talents.

Super Strength: All werecoyotes possess superhuman strength. However, because Malia inherited her mother's skills, she is much stronger than the typical werecoyote or beta. As a result, she is possibly one of the Pack's strongest members.

Animal Knowledge: As a coyote who has spent half her life in the woods, Malia has a thorough understanding of the animal realm and how predatory animals operate. Malia's first impulse is to act like a coyote, which has aided the pack in several situations involving animal-like supernaturals, even though Malia has already learned a great deal about living as a human after spending so much time as an animal.
