'Magnum PI' Season 4 Full Cast List: Meet Jay Hernandez and others from hit CBS show
Thomas Magnum is back. CBS made the bold decision to reboot a cult classic, 'Magnum PI' that saw Tom Selleck play the iconic character in the hit 80's crime procedural. It was pretty much high-octane action even at that time, and the network decided to bring the famed private investigator back — this time with Jay Hernandez as Magnum, a former NAVY seal who's gone PI and solves crimes in Hawaii.
The latest season sees new characters coming in. Deadline reported that the series roped on Martin Martinez as part of the cast in a recurring role. The actor plays Cade Jensen and the site describes him as "a determined but troubled teenager who attempts to charm his way into a job at La Mariana, and over the course of several episodes, ultimately finds a surrogate parent in TC (Stephen Hill)". Chantal Thuy is one of the latest additions as well. With this piece of news, we take a look at the cast for season 4 of the CBS crime drama.

Jay Hernandez as Thomas Magnum
Magnum, once played by Tom Selleck, is Latinx actor Jay Hernandez. In the reboot, Magnum's background sees him as a former Navy SEAL who served in Afghanistan. While he is a security consultant for the successful novelist Robin Masters, living in the guest house on his estate, his main hustle is his private investigator gig.
Hernandez has had tremendous success in Hollywood since he rose to fame after starring opposite Kirsten Dunst in the 2001 movie, 'Crazy/Beautiful'. He has since starred in numerous films, including 'Friday Night Lights' (2004), 'Hostel' (2005), 'Bad Moms' (2016). He is best known for playing El Diablo in the DC movie 'Suicide Squad'.
Perdita Weeks as Juliet Higgins
Higgins could rightly be described as one of the more badass characters on the show. Her chemistry with Magnum has been a talking point since the start of the series. The Welsh actress has quite a solid CV in Hollywood. Her works include 'Penny Dreadful', 'The Tudors', 'Ready Player One' and Ralph Fiennes-directed 'The Invisible Woman', to her name. Among her other films are 'As Above, So Below' (2014), 'Hamlet' (1996), and 'Spice World' (1997).
Stephen Hill as Theodore "TC" Calvin
Hill plays TC, the ex-marine turned pilot. Known to be a fan of the original series, he sat down to discuss the character with Roger E Mosely, the actor who played the role with Selleck. His acting credits include 'Law & Order: SVU', 'It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia', 'Political Animals', 'Blue Bloods', 'Boardwalk Empire', 'Lewis & Clark' and 'Luke Cage'. His most recent work includes Steve McQueen’s feature film 'Widows' and the Netflix series 'Maniac'.
Zachary Knighton as Orville "Rick" Wright
Knighton plays Rick, a former Marine who runs his own bar and is also a playboy. He is best known for his role in ABC's 'Happy Endings'. His acting credits include 'Santa Clarita Diet' and 'Parenthood'.
'Magnum PI' Season 4 releases October 1 on CBS.
