'MAFS' Season 14: Fans demand a 'Second Chances series' for Chris after Alyssa fiasco

With Chris making a sudden cameo on the show, fans believe the franchise owes him a do-over

The couples of 'Married At First Sight' can certainly use all the help they can get when navigating their relationship. While the experts are available, it's always comforting to know that friends and family have their back. And when it comes to couples who can't seem to catch a break, they need the help more than ever.

Mark and Lindsey began their relationship with extreme intensity, only for Mark to realize that he needed them to slow down a little, seeing that Lindsey was a lot to handle. Unfortunately for him, Lindsey was upset with this sudden change. Since then, the couple has been really struggling every step of the way.

While Mark's relationship with Lindsey is on the rocks, it does seem like he has made a strong connection with another cast member -- Chris! Chris and Mark spent time together, as Mark spoke to him about his marriage, with Chris being his sounding board. Chris and Alyssa got divorced right after the honeymoon, seeing that Alyssa was more interested in the 'experience' rather than her marriage. After her constantly berating Chris, he had enough and decided to end things, seeing that he joined the show to find a wife. Seeing that Alyssa had no intention of being married to him, it made no sense for him to stick around. Fans were glad to see Chris back on the show and couldn't help but joke about the fact that Alyssa was probably fuming.

Other fans agreed that Chris really deserved a do-over and a chance at happiness. "It's about time for a #Mafs Second Chances series. Chris is certainly owed that by the network for the way he was treated and the suffering he has endured! #Marriedatfirstsight" tweeted a fan. "Awww Chris is back! Wish he was celebrating his 1st month anniversary with a normal person. Experts - you owe this man happiness! We haven't forgotten!#MarriedAtFirstSight, #MAFS" stated another.
