'Love Island USA' Season 5 islanders participated in water and food swap challenge

PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5 continues with intriguing twists and surprises during Casa Amor. The over-the-top challenges and the jaw-dropping twists that no one saw coming has changed the dynamic of the relationships in the villa.

The Peacock series continues to push the Islanders into challenges as the main villa islanders are split into two different Casa Amors with 14 new bombshells. However, the 'Love Island USA' viewers have been disgusted by one of the latest challenges.

'Love Island USA' Season 5 Islanders join spitting water challenge

'Love Island USA' islanders got the text for the latest challenge. The text reads, "Islanders, it's happy hour! Tonight the villa and Casa Amor will go head to head in the challenge 'Shaking Things Up' #siphappens #spitdontswallow."

In the challenge, the islanders had to fill their mouths with water and split it into other islander's mouths and the passing of water continued until the glass of water filled up. The Islanders also engaged in food swap challenge.

However, the first Casa Amor villa which included the main villa's female islanders won the challenge.

'I haaaaate these spitting games. Please stop'

While 'Love Island USA' Season 5 Islanders might have enjoyed the spitting water challenge, the viewers appeared to be disgusted with it. A social media user wrote, "I would’ve gotten sent home for not doing that challenge. I need whoever created that challenge to serve a minimum of 10 years in the PENITENTIARY 🤢."

Another viewer tweeted, "That game made me sick to my stomach." Another person noted, "I’m literally gagging. This is disgusting." Another Twitter user said, "This game is genuinely nauseating. NEVER AGAIN!!." "#LoveIslandUSA I haaaaate these spitting games. Please stop," suggested another critic.

Another user penned, "This is the most UNSANITARY game. I don understand why they still do it." Another viewer stated, "I would self evict if producers told me I had to carry multiple peoples spit in my mouth."

'Love Island USA' Season 5 premiered on Peacock on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. During premiere week, new episodes will be available to stream every day at 9 pm ET. Subsequently, new episodes will be released on Thursdays through Tuesdays on Peacock.
