PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: After two couples received immunity from elimination, the public was able to vote on who would leave the villa on episode 9 of 'Love Island USA.' However, fans were left with a cliffhanger as both Victor Gonzalez and Carmen Kocourek were confronted with elimination before the cameras ended the scene without showing the eliminated islander.

The islanders faced a public elimination after viewers gave their opinions on the most compatible couples in the villa. While viewers awaited the elimination of one couple, a text revealed a shocking twist. Now the islanders who were safe could vote together on the one person who would pack their bags.

Hannah and Kay Kay doubt their decision amid Victor's elimination

When it came time to vote, Carmen and Victor waited anxiously for the islanders' decision. The islanders made a split decision: Five votes for Carmen and five votes for Victor. In the latest episode, Hannah Maria Wright and Vickala 'Kay Kay' Gray saved Carmen from Victor only because they thought she liked Carsten 'Bergie' Bergersen. But shortly after Carmen was saved from elimination, her feelings for Bergie changed, causing Hannah and Kay Kay to doubt their decision. Hannah and Kay Kay regret after Victor was eliminated. Hannah asked Kay Kay, "Did we make the wrong decision?" However, Kay Kay admitted, "Yeah we did." Alluding to Bergie, Kay Kay added, "Imma tell you why. She's not interested in that. The decision we made was based on that, and I don't think that's gonna happen."
