'Love is Blind' Season 6: Kenneth Gorham faces backlash for using phone as Brittany Mills breaks into tears
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: 'Love Is Blind' Season 6 star Kenneth Gorham drew significant attention after he was continuously seen on his phone.
Despite his fiancee, Brittany Mills, articulating the challenges in their relationship, Kenneth seemed more focused on checking his emails than engaging in a meaningful conversation with her.
When the couple broke up, Brittany became teary-eyed and mentioned she was "too emotional" to handle it. Instead of comforting Brittany, Kenneth avoided her emotions and started checking his phone.
Fans, noticing Kenneth's odd behavior, voiced accusations of "gaslighting" and deemed his behavior as "disrespectful" towards Brittany.
A fan took screenshots of Kenneth's Instagram posts to Reddit where the reality TV star was seen posing with phone in hand.
The fan wrote, "This man only has 14 posts and he’s on his phone in 3 of them 💀 also his comments are off." He was then heavily criticized for being indifferent towards Brittany.
Another fan commented, "Idk if the show cut was accurate but her crying after he broke up with her then cutting to him like 👨💻 on his phone KILLED ME. Justice for Brittany."
Another called out to Kenneth, stating, "He was gaslighting her so bad. He didn't want her. He kept saying if she didn't feel "the crave" for him then it wouldn't work when he knows she meant she didn't feel it FROM him. She's young and didn't articulate it well. Hopefully they find true love soon."
"It sucks that Brittany got caught up in his bullshit. She deserves better," wrote one. Another slammed the star, "The way he refused to put his phone down and acknowledge her was plain disrespectful." One dubbed Kenneth to be "What a manipulative piece of s**t."

Brittany and Kenneth shared an emotional connection, but there was a lack of physical connection between them. Brittany confessed to her fiance, "We barely kissed and haven't made out, and for some reason, that just seems really awkward to me."
Despite their decision to refrain from sexual engagement, Brittany couldn't shake the feeling that if Kenneth were physically attracted to her, he would have made some effort to convey that.
She said, "Even with the promise that we made, I would have still enjoyed that temptation of being like, 'No! Like, oh my god, I can't. Holy cow."
Kenneth accepted Brittany's concerns and believed that this was not something they could work on before getting married. Consequently, the couple mutually decided to call off their marriage and exit the show.

The average age of principals is 48 but Kenneth was just 25 when he joined as a middle school principal. He even appeared on Kelly Clarkson's Show.
The reality TV star shared a clip with his followers, saying, "So honored that @kellyclarkson & @kellyclarksonshow allowed me the space to share more about my story and the amazing school I serve. Being the youngest principal in my school’s history but also the city of Charlotte is something that continues to be surreal to me."
