'Love Is Blind': Jessica toasts to being 'future Mrs Cuevas' while Giannina abuses Damian ahead of the wedding
Netflix's 'Love Is Blind' has gotten off to a stellar start and looks like it will continue its successful run next week as well. The streaming giant will release the next four episodes on February 20 and a lot is going to go down in the next batch of it.
Matt Barnett and Amber Pike came off as this couple with boundless spark but that has started to fizzle out. At least that is what the preview clip suggests. From the looks of it, the couple is in a chat with one of Matt's family members when he questions the two if they are ready to give up everything for the other person? Later, Amber asks Matt which side would he choose if there were ever to be an issue between her and someone in his family. His answer is: "I don't know."
Meanwhile, Jessica Batten and Mark Anthony Cuevas seem to have put their awkwardness behind and started afresh ever since they returned from their vacation in Cancun, Mexico. Jessica and her friends toast to her and Mark having "good sex" and being "the future Mrs. Cuevas." This is a huge improvement from what they had been tackling during their trip away from home. Then, Jessica had taken off her engagement ring and made it very clear to Mark that she wouldn't want to meet his parents while she's in such a difficult headspace. Mark and Jessica share a 10 year age gap and that has been her point of concern since the very beginning. But is that all that was stopping Jessica from being affectionate towards Mark? Guess we'll find out in the coming episodes.
Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed are an interracial couple and that could be an issue for the both of them, at least one of Lauren's family members seem to think so. He suggested the couple speak at length about their difference in color possibly just to figure out if they are both on the same page. However, Cameron has been very clear about how his lady's skin color will never be a factor that drives his decisions in matters of the heart.
Giannina Milady Gibelli and Damian Powers, the cute and balanced couple seem to be having issues already. While Damian says their marriage could tear his family apart, he later tells Giannina over dinner at a restaurant that if they continue to do things they are doing then she will lose him forever after she abuses him and calls him a 'motherf*****'. These are such serious statements to make especially in the weeks leading up to marriage. Will they be able to get over their issues? Time will tell.
Meanwhile, Kenny Barnes and Kelly Chase's relationship seem to be going nowhere and it's disappointing because they seemed like a couple who would make it to the aisle and beyond. The couple hasn't had sex yet and that bothers Kenny. What could be the reason behind Kelly not committing to their engagement fully?
