Amazon Prime Video has dropped the much talked about trailer for its novel fantasy adventure drama series ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. Fans had been waiting for the trailer to drop and it’s finally out now. We can say that the cinematography and visuals are really stunning. At the beginning of the trailer, we can see glimpses of snow-clad mountains, sprawling villas, lush greenery, epic battles being fought on a horseback, villains made up of deadly fire, and varied mythical creatures with large feet taking a leisurely stroll across the field. There are elves, dwarves and farmers protecting their forests, mines and fields.

Then the voiceover mentions, “We Harfoots have only each other.” We see a glimpse of a character saying this dialogue “You have fought long enough Galadriel” which mentions that an epic war is about to ensue which would change everything permanently. There’s a sneak peek of another actor saying, “Darkness will march over the face of the earth. It will be the end of not just our people, but all people,” which is hinting towards the fact that this huge war is inevitable and could make drastic changes for each one of them. We see how Harfoots are on road walking with their fire logs waging a war on supernatural beings.

Overall, the trailer has a mix of period drama setting, mythical creatures, supernatural beings, war, fantasy, adventure and constantly evolving emotional backstories of the main characters which can make fans hooked to their screens. There’s a constant undertone of how the war will completely change the dynamics of everyone living on earth. There’s a blend of warriors going to war with Harfoots on their horses followed by the massive waters and a ship about to drown along with a scene where people are also seen joining this rebellion and war. Huge animal creatures are seen warring with people. Ever since the trailer has been dropped by makers, the ardent ‘Lord of the Rings’ fandom has turned Twitter into a tweet fest where they all have been giving in their reactions to the superb trailer constantly.

“Wonderful, impressive, spectacular. One series to rule them all #TheRingsOfPower,” said a fan. “FUCK it's getting SO HARD to keep my expectations low cause this makes it look SO GOOD. I've been pretending I didn't care for so long and this teaser made my feelings explode, the way it really feels like Middle-earth.. GODDAMN PLEASE BE GOOD,” added a fan. “This looks way, way better than when they first showed it. Feels like they either rushed out shots before they were ready or they've listened to feedback and done a lot more work. This visually looks way more lived in and realised tbh,” a fan wrote. “Honestly getting excited for this and will studiously ignore the naysayers #LOTRROP,” wrote a fan. “The scale & the cinematography,” said another fan. “The production value for this show looks insane. I'm definitely more hyped for this, than I am with House of the Dragon,” shared a fan. “#TheRingsOfPower looks way, waay better than it probably needed to. LOTR purists will nag but I think this has the potential to be something marvelous,” added another fan.
