Zachary Roloff went on an adventure with his family ahead of the arrival of their baby girl but there were a few things that he did not expect would happen. He and Tori Patton thought going away would be a fun outing for them as a family, so they decided to go to a cabin by the lake and spend some quality time together.

During their visit, Zachary had the idea of going kayaking. While Tori and their son, Jackson, could not be a part of it, he decided to venture on his own. However, he did not get far as their dog quickly came swimming to rescue him.

While Zachary was having fun, his dog thought that he needed saving and decided to jump into the water and swim to save him. Unfortunately, because of his dog, Zachary lost his balance and landed in the water.

He was unable to balance himself and his fun adventure ended up being a tragedy. Fortunately, he did not get hurt and the family ended up having a good laugh. Previously, Tori had hinted that she had a lot of thoughts going on her mind about the birth of their daughter. The pair found out that their daughter would be a dwarf and hearing this did not put her heart at ease.

Tori was worried about the problems that lay ahead for her daughter. She opened up to Zachary and confessed that she was worried about how their daughter would handle it. She revealed that girls normally have a lot of issues to face while growing up and being a dwarf would make things complicated for their daughter.

Zachary tried to assure her that everything would be fine while adding that she would always have Jackson to help her out. He added that every parent has a problem and the only difference for them would be that their problems would be little more than others. While she understood that the future could not be seen, their recent getaway seems to be a good way for her to focus on the present.

'Little People, Big World' airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
