Lily-Rose has returned to work just in time for a major development in her father Johnny Depp's legal proceedings with his ex-wife Amber Heard. Daughter of Johnny Depp, shared behind-the-scenes pictures of herself and Troye Sivan, where they looked to be filming their gritty new show, 'The Idol' on Friday, June 24.

The 23-year-old and Sivan were both chosen for The Weeknd's much-awaited television project. The show's narrative revolves around a self-help guru and cult leader who has a tangled relationship with a budding pop star. "I luv this girl I really do!!" Sivan wrote on the selfies with Lily-Rose, to which she responded, "King of my heart." Lily-Rose decided not to publish anything about her father's legal struggle throughout the trial, even though she had previously defended him and rejected abuse charges in 2016. Lily-Rose and her boyfriend Yassine Stein were seen out on a dinner date earlier this month after Johnny's significant court triumph. Johnny and Heard were unable to settle their dispute by June 24, deadline, which resulted in the jury's decision in the former couple's defamation trial being finalized. When their attorneys reunited in court once again, the choice was made in stone. According to RadarOnline.com, the legal team for the 'Black Mass' star shockingly decided not to ask for an injunction.

Amber Heard hopes Johnny Depp trial will 'MEAN SOMETHING' to daughter Oonagh as she grows up

Heard is now responsible for paying her ex-husband $8.35 million, and if she chooses to appeal the ruling, she will be responsible for paying the entire sum in bail along with penalty interest. Five million dollars in punitive penalties and ten million dollars in compensatory damages were originally given to Johnny. "As stated in yesterday's congressional hearings, you don't ask for a pardon if you are innocent. And, you don't decline to appeal if you know you are right," Heard's spokesperson informed RadarOnline.com in regards to the decision. Due to Virginia state law, Judge Penny eventually lowered the punitive penalties to $350,000 but Heard still received $2 million.

Johnny and Vanessa Paradis have two children, Lily-Rose, and Jack, 20. Lily-Rose has lately starred in the sci-fi Voyagers as well as the drama picture 'Wolf', after creating a name for herself in the modeling industry. Although Lily-Rose has not yet made an official statement on Johnny and Amber's ongoing defamation case, she previously showed her support for the 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' actor in a post on Instagram. Lily-Rose shared a flashback photo from the year 2016 post and wrote under it: "My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know. He's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same." However, later she deleted the post.
