'Life After Lockup': Will Scott break up with Lindsey? She seems determined to dig up his secrets
Scott and Lindsey had a much-needed chat in the previous week's episode. Although, the intention was to understand each other better through the conversation they are far apart now than before.
Ever since Scott rummaged through Lindsey's luggage and found the note (the one that he thinks to be a blueprint of scamming him), she has been on his case. Recently, she asked why he was so invested in knowing what that note meant, but not before she wished to get to the bottom of the reason why Scott got in touch with her ex from six years ago.
Scott said he only wanted to check if Lindsey was an okay person to be in a relationship with. And this pushed her to ask if he thought she had an "ulterior motive" behind being with him? He responded by saying he felt she was with him to provide a living for her daughter and a comfortable lifestyle for herself.
Not only was Lindsey stunned, but she also counter-questioned him about his motives to be with her. Scott said he was always looking to build a trusting relationship with her and that she was very beautiful to look at.
Later, they both get on the phone with their friends to understand how to go about the situation they are in. While Scott was slyly advised that he should leave her, while Lindsey seems determined to do some research on Scott, find out if he has loopholes in his story because none of what he said before matches with his current life except that he lost his son.
Meanwhile, fans thought if Scott had trust issues then he should have gone for someone his age and not an ex-felon. Some even pointed out that contacting her ex was a bad move. "If Scott wanted a trusting relationship, he should have started with not dating an inmate. #LifeAfterLockup #LoveAfterLockup," a fan expressed, another tweeted: "Dude, you're 50! You should not be texting your girlfriend's ex like a 19 year old. Scott man, get some self esteem." "If you gotta ask an ex about the person your with then you got a problem scott #LifeAfterLockup," a user posted.
