BRISTOL, UNITED KINGDOM: A transgender sex offender has been convicted of raping a friend with ‘her p***s’. This comes only weeks after she had been released from prison for being involved in sexual acts with a child. Lexi-Rose Crawford, 24, had been given a four-year jail term, which she served and then got released. She began to identify as a female, using a female name and pronoun in early 2019, soon after she had been released from prison- but in a matter of a few weeks, she had raped a vulnerable friend.

When asked about the incident however, Crawford had been quick to say that she suffered from blackouts, thus causing her shoddy memories of the assault. However, he had been convicted of the offense by the jurors on Friday, after less than two hours of deliberation. Crawford, who used to work as a guitar technician, had apparently started ahead and said nothing as she was condemned guilty of rape and sexual assault. As of now, Crawford has been released on conditional bail, until the sentencing which is slated to take place on May 10. Daily Mail also reports that despite being addressed by her chosen pronouns throughout the four-day trial, Crawford will be sent to a male prison for her crimes.

Transgender sex offender used ‘her p***s’ to rape friend

Crawford’s indictment had clearly specified the use of ‘her p***s’ in the assault. The victim, who has not been named, had said that Crawford came over to her home in 2019 to where they played computer games and then said that Crawford “wanted me to lie down next to her and then tried to start, like cuddling me, which I don’t feel comfortable with anyway. And then, she started removing my clothes, which I didn’t want, I did keep saying that, like, ‘I didn’t want to.’”

‘What could I have done?’

Despite the victim making her displeasure known multiple times, Crawford went on to rape her. When she was asked why she did not attempt to fight off Crawford, the victim said, “What could I have done without using physical contact to stop her? And then that could have been me in the wrong, by using physical contact to stop her.”

Prosecutor David Scutt had also called out Crawford for her alleged blackouts, labelling it as a ‘convenient excuse.’ He asked, “It appears you can remember the good stuff, but you cannot remember the bad stuff. Are you pretending that you can’t remember?”
