'Legacies' Season 3 Episode 1: Fans can't wait for Alaric to die as they're over Matt Davis

'Legacies' Season 3 premiered on Thursday on The CW and we saw how Landon and the Hope problem was resolved pretty quickly

'Legacies' Season 3 Episode 1 showed how Hope refused to wake up from her reverie after hunting the real Josie within her subconscious mind because she had someone know that Landon had been killed. That's right, for some time there, Landon has been dead after being struck by a golden arrow. So in the end, when the Necromancer ends up bringing ghost Landon back to Salvatore's school in the hopes that he would want to return to his life, we realize what Headmaster Saltzman and Rafael have in their hands.

They would need to convince Landon to return to his body, but at this point, Landon wants to play hero and tells them that he doesn't want to return to his body and leads to the necromancer becoming more powerful. When Saltzman is dealing with this, he must also stomach his daughter being bullied by the entire school student body and the best solution that he has for it is to send the kids on a field trip. Then there is the fact that he watched as his daughter Josie stumbled after her shoe laces were magically tied to one another.

It doesn't help that the actor who plays Saltzman, Matt Davis, had recently also shown support for Donald Trump when he commented on a Vice Presidential debate and that is still fresh in fans' minds so they want Saltzman dead no matter what. Is this the season of 'Legacies' that will finally see Saltzman perish after being a part of the entire franchise? 

One fan shared, "#Legacies alaric dies when??? i’m over m*tt d*vis." Another fan hoped that the necromancer would leave and will also take Alaric with him and stated, "okay so can the necromancer go away along with alaric #LEgacies." Another fan also wrote, "Actually, the school needs Hope not Alaric. We can kick him to the curb so we can get my wifey back."

One fan even pointed out, "Why do they call Alaric Dr.Saltzman ?? This man is a high school history teacher lol #Legacies."

Wonder if we can commence a council and decide to removed Dr Saltzman from the council like they did in the second season, because the school teacher seems highly incapable of handling students such as Hope and his own daughters, which is something that he had come to realize. This is also why Alaric decided to let Josie go to her vampire mother in the hopes of finding her answers. 

'Legacies' Season 3 airs every Thursday at 9 pm ET and can be streamed on Netflix.
