'LA's Finest' Season 2 came to an end with a bang, literally. The cliffhanger of the last episode paved the way for Season 3 as we realized that Sydney Burnett (Gabrielle Union) and Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba) are on another gang's hitlist. The unknown and dangerous squad had planted a bomb in the car that exploded just before Syd and Nancy got in. In the last few seconds of the episode, we got a glimpse of two mysterious people sitting in the car and watching them. They toss a cigarette on the ground before driving away.

There's more hell to be unleashed and there's more drama for the cops to solve. Here's what we know about Season 3.

Release date

There hasn't been any official confirmation about Season 3 of the show yet. 'LA's Finest' will stream on Spectrum.

Plot details

Season 2 was spent tracking down Jen's killer as well as trying to understanding the masterminds behind the massive crimewave surge in Koreatown, while Nancy and Syd both battled their personal dramas on the sidelines. Nancy's marriage with Patrick (Ryan McPartlin) crashed and burned and just as both of them were about to work on it, he was shot dead. Initially, his step-daughter Izzie was about to leave for Chicago with her aunt but decided to stay with Nancy instead. Regarding Syd, she struggled to cope with Jen's death as she sought out her killer and almost took the blame for something she didn't do, putting her career on the line. There's a lot more drama and suspense planned for Season 3 and it remains to be seen who Nancy's new love interest will be and whether Syd will resume her relationship with her boss, Jason Calloway, as the two of them decided to take a step back in Season 2.
