Plot details
Season 2 was spent tracking down Jen's killer as well as trying to understanding the masterminds behind the massive crimewave surge in Koreatown, while Nancy and Syd both battled their personal dramas on the sidelines. Nancy's marriage with Patrick (Ryan McPartlin) crashed and burned and just as both of them were about to work on it, he was shot dead. Initially, his step-daughter Izzie was about to leave for Chicago with her aunt but decided to stay with Nancy instead. Regarding Syd, she struggled to cope with Jen's death as she sought out her killer and almost took the blame for something she didn't do, putting her career on the line.
