South African hunk Alan Santini finally got a chance to go on a date with the mother-to-be Kristy Katzmann. After surprising Kristy with some delicious home-cooked stew, Alan managed to bag a date with Kristy. The date began on a high note. The couple went to an abandoned, car lot, where they destroyed two cars after writing their past mistakes and future hopes on them, before smashing them. Just as things were going smoothly between the duo, Alan ruins the moment by discussing the other guys on the show, instead of getting to know Kristy better on their date.

This instantly puts off Kristy, who felt that Alan should have spent the time trying to form a connection with her instead of gossiping about the other men on the show. At the end of their date, when Kristy hopes that Alan will accompany her back to her place, he leaves her feeling disappointed. Instead of going back to her place for a nightcap, he declines to go back to her place because it would upset the other men. That was the final straw for Kristy, who was convinced that Alan prioritized bromance over family. She explains in her green room interview that she wants someone who is more focused on family than Alan.

It wasn't just Alan who failed to impress Kristy. Even fan-favorite contestant Matt Kaye ruined any chance of ever becoming the father of Kristy's child when he expressed his views on parenting. The contestants played a fun game of quiz with Kristy to know each others' views on parenting, goals and family. One of the questions was about how would they want to raise their child. Matt responded to it, saying he wanted his child to be raised by the mother and extended family and he wouldn't be playing an active role in raising the child. This threw a lot of red flags at Kristy, who was looking for a partner who she could settle down with and raise a family. So it came as no surprise when Alan and Matt were eliminated towards the end of the latest episode.

'Labor of Love' airs every Thursday at 9/8 c only on Fox.
