‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’: Fans call Kim 'hypocrite' as she hounds Kourtney for being private
In the latest episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, we saw Kim and Khloe get into an ugly fight with their older sister, Kourtney. Kim and Khloe teamed up against Kourtney and called her out for having “too many boundaries and rules” and not sharing her life enough on camera. Kourtney later sat down with her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters and made it clear that she has a lot of other things going on in her life apart from the show, and also expressed her desire to keep certain aspects of her life private.
To say Kim and Khloe weren’t happy with Kourtney’s choice and decision would be an understatement. They felt like they had to pick up the slack for Kourtney by filming a lot more of their lives. Eventually, their meeting ended with Kourtney storming out saying she’s done. Kourtney later says in her green room interview that she was hurt by her sisters when they put the show and their professional commitment over her and didn’t respect her boundaries.
A few fans were quick to call out on Kim for being a “hypocrite” when she is doing the same thing that Kourtney wishes to do. While Kourtney’s relationship with Scott was played out for the whole world to watch, we hardly get snippets of Kim’s marital life with Kanye West. It is only this season that we are seeing him a lot more than in the earlier seasons. Even in the current season, Kim keeps her interactions with her rapper husband private. Like when the couple did their vow renewal ceremony, she showed all the preparations and backend work that went into the ceremony but didn’t actually reveal the footage of the event or their vows.
A fan tweeted, “Does Kim get how hypocritical she sounds? She’s annoyed she’s not showing her relationships, yet Kanye wasn’t on the show that much until recently. They were together for years before that happened. So why can’t Kourtney do the same? #KUWTK”.
Another fan wrote, “How could Kim get on Kourtney about sharing not enough personal things on TV. When her & Kanye renewed their vows, she wanted that to be personal & not on TV. Hypocrite. #KUWTK”.
“I love how everyone seems to forget that Kourtney was carrying the show on her back FOR YEARS by showing her dysfunctional relationship with Scott. Kim keeps her life with Kanye private but doesn’t get dragged for it LOL. #KUWTK”, pointed out a fan.
Some fans even pointed out that Kylie and Kendall Jenner are hardly on the show, and Kim and Khloe seem to be okay with it. A fan wrote, “ok soooo Kylie & Kendall don’t share their lives on the show at all.. why is it a big deal for Kourtney not to be? @KimKardashian #KUWTK”.
Another fan explained why she thought it was alright for Kourtney to keep her life private with, “#KUWTK Why would Kourtney want to be their when she’s talking when Kim and Khloe are just on their phones when Kourtney is talking? So rude and Kylie and her sister Kendall are hardly on the show. Are you going to hound them too? Damn #KUWTK”.
