Kim Kardashian's new show Glam Masters teaser is finally here
The winner of Glam Masters will collaborate with Kardashian-West to create a limited-edition makeup collection for her KKW Beauty line.
The very first episode of Glam Masters, Kim Kardashian West's new reality show, is here and it’s everything we hoped for from the woman who basically coined the term “glam squad.” Hosted by Laverne Cox and starring Kardashian West’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic as one of the judges, the eight-episode series premieres next Wednesday, February 28.
Rumors of a Kim Kardashian West-produced reality show first started to circulate in 2016, when a casting call appeared on Facebook looking for "the best makeup artists YouTube has to offer."
Kardashian West announced the series in May last year and followed it up with the most extra trailer we’ve ever seen. Now, although it hasn’t aired yet, Kardashian West has chosen to release the first 30 minutes of the debut episode.
Kardashian, who launched her namesake makeup company KKW Beauty last year, teamed up with TV personality and entrepreneur Diana Madison, who started her career at Entertainment Tonight and E! Network before co-founding Obsev Studios, to co-executive-produce the show, which ended up becoming a match made in heaven.
“We’re both Armenian, so we immediately bonded,” Madison told PeopleStyle when they caught up with her leading up to the show’s highly anticipated premiere.
The biggest news in the teaser is that the winner of Glam Master will collaborate with Kardashian-West to create a limited-edition makeup collection for her KKW Beauty line to be showcased in a booth at an upcoming Beautycon festival, the annual gathering in New York, Los Angeles and London created by the company helmed by CEO Moj Mahdara.
"In the end, only one will paint their name in makeup history and become the very first Glam Master," declares a voiceover in the teaser.
Though Kardashian herself doesn't appear in the first episode, or at least not in the segment released thus far, Cox and Dedivanovic are joined by YouTube makeup expert Kandee Johnson, as well as the co-founder of Milk Makeup and Marie Claire senior fashion editor Zanna Roberts Rassi as judges on the show.
