Kardashian followers are skeptical if Kim Kardashian uses her own skincare brand SKKN. Fans of the reality star slammed her when they couldn't see any any product from her brand in the background of a recent shot.

Kim, 41, dressed in a silver bodysuit from her brand SKIMS and posted a mirror photo from her hotel room on Friday. The mother of four dazzled her fans by showcasing her curves in the tight outfit. However, some astute followers were more focused on a background detail they could make out. Some people noticed that although Kim had a variety of products on her bathroom counter, there was nothing from her own business, SKKN. The post came after Kim unveiled her brand-new skincare collection, which includes nine items that she suggests applying every day. Fans were perplexed as to why SKKN items weren't on her bathroom counter. In contrast to Kim's own $72 face care, one said they could see a $9 bottle of Cetaphil moisturizer.

The SKKN brand has already drawn criticism for its pricing since it debuted last week. The overall cost of the entire collection, which includes a cleanser, toner, and exfoliant, is $673. A night oil and a serum with hyaluronic acid are two of the most expensive specialized items. Kim, who is still in a committed relationship with Pete Davidson, came under fire from fans for calling her new line "prestige" in an interview with The New York Times. A user wrote, "You can buy all of that stuff for less than $100 with other brands. None of that stuff is special. Hyaluronic acid costs like $10 lmao. And why is the NYT advertising for her??" Another user wrote, "Kim Kardashian having none of her own SKKN by Kim skincare products on her bathroom counter and instead having Cetaphil and Neutrogena is all I’ll ever need to know about buying any celebrity “skincare lines."

Kim has re-entered the beauty industry with her new skincare line, SKKN BY KIM, following the closure of KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance. According to a news statement, the new products will provide "rejuvenation, nourishment, and an indulgent at-home experience designed to help people feel confident in their skin."

Kim shared, "In all of my business endeavors, I've been fueled by my passion to fill gaps in the market with expertly-crafted and universally-loved products that are performance driven – and I have carried this same drive and approach with me into creating a legacy skincare brand."

She shared how her personal hardships inspired the development of this new brand. "What began as a psoriasis diagnosis became the catalyst for my journey of skincare discoveries, inspiring me to learn more about my skin and how to care for it. Working with some of the top dermatologists and estheticians over the years has given me the incredible opportunity to learn from their expertise— and I knew I had to share my learnings."

The brand will be available exclusively on skknbykim.com on June 21 at 9 am PT/12 pm ET, and fans may sign up now to be alerted when merchandise is ready for purchase.
