‘Killing Eve’ is known for its suspenseful endings, and last week's episode came to a halt with a major shock. Kenny Stowton (Sean Delaney), Carolyn Martens' (Fiona Shaw) son, is dead.

Episode 2 'Management Sucks' begins with his funeral and Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) just cannot believe that he committed suicide. Meanwhile, Carolyn is emotionless. She chooses to mask her feelings even after her son's death. Talking about her role, one fan labeled her as the 'ice queen'. "Stone cold Carolyn. She is the Ice Queen," one wrote and another said, "Fiona Shaw is extraordinary. The way her voice cracks just ever so slightly, not giving anything more than the tiniest bit away. Which gives it all away. Also, Carolyn has the most amazing coats #KillingEve."

One fan said, "Carolyn 'I don’t want ppl to know that I’m looking in'," and another posted, "Ahh! Carolyn knows Kenny didn't commit suicide. She just said that so people wouldn't notice she's looking into it. She wants Eve's help and she tries to lure her in with news on Villanelle. Villanelle is the bait to reel Eve back in. #KillingEve."

Fans feel Kenny's death will bring Eve and Carolyn together. Moreover, they can't stop gushing at how Villanelle (Jodie Comer) being alive still affects Eve. "Even if they don't work together again, Eve and Carolyn ought to at least be sharing all their information to increase their own odds of staying alive," one said and another posted, "This all feels a lot like just treading water, with Carolyn trying to manipulate Eve by dangling Villanelle in front of her, we've done this already. I was hoping by this point we'd be doing something more like Eve & Villanelle going after The Twelve #KillingEve."

What's more, one fan went on to predict: "Face it Eve, you’re going back to work for Carolyn. YOU have to. It’s in your blood. And you will! Welcome back girl! Your desire and anger for Villanelle won’t allow you to do otherwise! #KillingEve."

Meanwhile, many others couldn't stop talking about their emotions. "I love that Carolyn still knew that Villanelle would interest Eve. #KillingEve," one said and another wrote, "Eve is just not doing well, huh. Carolyn too. Everyone on Earth needs therapy." One said, "I see Carolyn gave all her emotions to her children #killingeve."

As the next episode airs on BBC America at 9 pm ET, it might show whether Villanelle's presence and Kenny's death will bring Eve and Carolyn together.
