'Killer Camp' was dubbed "cheesy", "fake" and "enjoyable" by fans as the British show made that was added by The CW as part of its summer roster premiered today. The show sees 11 strangers make their way to camp pleasant and find out there is a killer in the midst. In order to make sure they get away from being murdered, they have to fulfill the game objective of earning cash, earn immunity by winning tasks and also find out who the murderer is.

Twitterati was quite pleased. "I see the CW has a reality competition series premiering tonight called #killercamp and I’m assuming it’s the same format as the ITV show, in which case I’m all for it," a fan wrote. "#KillerCamp reminds me of Murder in Small Town X, a show that I think only I watched. But very entertaining so far..." seconded another fan. "#killercamp is exactly what I needed for that middle of summer dead zone of TV shows. It's a reality show with competitions and a serial killer. This has me written all over it!" a fan said.

"Taking a break from reading Sing, Unburied, Sing, and I'm enjoying this show way more than I expected. #KillerCamp" a fan opined. One of the tasks on the show to earn cash was to carry watermelon juice up a slippery slope and fill up a container. It was an absolute fun and mess activity that saw the campers slip, trip and slide their way down a puddle."I could go for some watermelon. Let me sharpen my knife & slice some for you," a fan remarked.

"There was a show a few years ago on ABC called Whodunnit? And it was really good. Feel like this will give me similar vibes so decided to give it a go. #KillerCamp," a fan exclaimed. "#KillerCamp might become my guilty pleasure show," a fan tweeted. The host of the show, Bobby Meir plays camp counselor Bobby and is the one who gives them some of these interesting tasks and keeps the game flow going. Fans also liked his "weirdly dun" demeanor.

"Meir is fun and as cheesy as the show is, it's a perfect watch," a fan tweet read.

'Killer Camp' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on The CW.
