The premiere of Season 2 of 'Kidding' aired two episodes, titled 'The Cleanest Liver in Columbus, Ohio' and 'Up, Down and Everything in Between'. The show follows Pickles, an icon for children television but losing a child and a marriage has left his personal life in shambles.

Episode 1 of Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off — Pickles hitting Jill’s (Judy Greer) beau, Peter (Justin Kirk) with a car after he was offered a joint by Peter. This first episode runs along the lines of Jeff going through the motions of guilt while reminiscing about good times with his "old happy family".

Fans welcome Pickles back on screen, enjoying the two-episode drop after waiting for the second season for some time. The second episode sees a debate between Jill, Deirdre (Catherine Keener), and Seb (Frank Langella), Jeff's father to figure out the blame for Jeff's recent antics.

Not to mention, Jeff is officially in the real-world version of "Pickle Barrel Falls".

"The season premiere for @SHOKidding just ended and I'm already craving more. Both episodes shocked me in more ways than I could expect, with a perfect balance of drama, feels, and humor. Well done cast and crew, you got me hooked once again, can't wait to see more  #Kidding," tweeted a fan.

Fans also praised the impeccable acting from Justin Kirk, 'Weeds' alumni, "Justin Kirk is the MVP of rhyming. #kidding #showtime" tweeted another fan.

The series also featured a musical in its second episode during the premiere and that may have been a fan favorite, "Their dysfunctional family situation as a musical is too funny. And the fact that Peter is experiencing the same thing is great. #Kidding," tweeted one fan.

Another claimed, "An automatic top contender for the musical number of the year."

While some fans got deep, "Pickle Barrel Falls, the illusion of freedom from concern, but in reality, a prison for Jeff. #Kidding", other fans chose to laugh at the dramedy, "The word of the day is vehicular manslaughter" line was the cherry on top of a hilariously dark scene. #Kidding," said a tweet.

We can't wait to see what next week has in store for Pickles. 'Kidding' Season 2 airs on Sundays at 10 pm EST on Showtime.
