As Hart plays the lead, in the movie he is a master thief who is chased by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to conduct a heist, that is impossible but also a fun chase. In the movie, like any heist movies, Hart brings together his international crew on 777 flying from London to Zurich.  The movie stars many talented mavericks that includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D'Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno, Burn Gorman, and Sam Worthington. As the caption of Hart's Instagram post reveals, expect 'Lift' to premiere in August 2023.

Hart fans are already excited about the release, going by the comments on the teaser photo post. "So excited! This is one of the biggest highlights on Netflix of 2023 for sure! So epic! I can't wait to see this!" remarked a follower. "August is too far 😢 buh we gonna wait for it ❤️🔥......... LET'S GO💯✌️💓," said another. Others joked about the early reminder, with one comment reading, "It’s only January bro we gone need a reminder when time get closer," while another quipped, "How you tell us to mark our Calendar and save the date without giving us an actual date? We just supposed draw a red circle around the entire month of August and write Netflix next to it? lol 😂"

While 'Lift' is going to be a treat to the Kevin Hart fans, it will also be a comeback for American director F. Gary Gray returning to the heist genre. Gray is known for directing 'Men in Black: International', 'The Fate of the Furious', and the Academy Award-nominated 'Straight Outta Compton'. With great direction, fun writing and Kevin Hart's stage presence, 'Lift' is a much awaited film of 2023.
