KCON LA 2022: Date, venue, tickets and K-pop lineup includes Itzy, Enhypen and Ateez
It looks like the days of online events being live-streamed and giving that Zoom vibe is over. With the pandemic getting under control, we are finally getting back concerts, in-person events and world tours. Fans are saving up like crazy as groups after groups are having world tours like Seventeen, Stray Kids, Monsta X, TWICE, Itzy, TXT, Ateez, NCT, The Boyz and more. We also got the explosive KCON two years after the last offline KCON Thailand in 2019. KCON 2022 Premiere in Seoul, Tokyo and Chicago was met with much hype as fans were ready to see and interact with their favorite idols in person. And now KCON USA 2022 is back right on time for the 10th anniversary of the convention.
Like VidCon, ComicCon and DragCon, KCON is an annual convention for K-pop fans and idols launched in 2012 by CJ E&M and Koreaboo to bring K-pop to USA. It expanded to Japan in 2015 and ended up branching out even further, becoming the K-pop version of Coachella. We got some iconic collaborations and stages while fans got to hang out with K-pop idols. And now KCON is returning to its roots in LA in 2022 with an exciting lineup including rookie monsters Enhypen and NMIXX as well as popular groups like Itzy and The Boyz.

KCON LA 2022 will take place between August 19 and 21.
Venue
The iconic K-pop convention will be taking place at Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center in Los Angeles.
Where to watch
Performances, red carpet and other events will be live-streamed or uploaded on the YouTube channels of KCON Official and Mnet K-POP.
Tickets
KCON has revealed the dates and times that the tickets will go on sale.
Convention - June 13 at 5 pm PDT
Concert Presale - June 23 at 2 pm PDT
Concert General Sale - June 27 at 2 pm PDT
Artist engagement packages - June 28 at 2 pm PDT
Tickets for the convention are open at Eventscloud. The remaining ticket sales will take place on KCONUSA. Mnet has also introduced the ‘Mnet Plus Special Package’ where fans will get the benefit of a guaranteed purchase of a concert ticket during the presale period. The package also includes a free 3-day convention ticket and KCON YouTube membership that will allow the owner access to the VOD content of KCON LA 2022. It also includes access to the lounge and is available at $55 from June 17 at 12 am KST (June 16 at 11 am ET) on Presented Live.
K-pop lineup
While the lineup has not been officially revealed, KCON has shared obvious hints for the first lineup that has fandoms of certain groups are celebrating. We got the initials of the group name and their fandom along with the group’s theme.
