Bob The Drag Queen fills in for Katya Zamolodchikova on 'The Trixie and Katya Show'
Katya decided to take a break from drag to better care for her mental health.
The Trixie and Katya Show on Viceland seemed to be approaching its sudden end. After Katya announced her break from drag, fans were left in the dark about what was going to happen with The Trixie and Katya Show during her hiatus.
Our questions have finally been answered. Viceland recently announced that Bob The Drag Queen will be filling in for Katya as co-host on the web series.

This isn't the first time Trixie and Bob will be hosting together. They had previously joined forces with Trixie at DragCon in New York where she filled in for Katya during the live UNHhhh panel, which inspired the Viceland series. Bob The Drag Queen is the season 8 winner of RuPaul's Drag Race, whereas Trixie came 6th in season 7.
Bob's part was cemented after Katya took to her Instagram to announce her break from drag. The RuPaul's Drag Race alumnus opened up to her fans about her mental health and her decision to take a break.
Originally in French, Katya goes on to say [Translated]: “I’m tired, I’m exhausted, my brain doesn’t work anymore, because of the drugs, because of all the gigs, I need to take vacations, like a normal person.” Katya's claim to fame was when she was placed fourth on RuPaul's Drag Race season 7.
Katya later made a similar announcement in English on her Twitter account as well.
Fans, fellow drag queens, and RPDR alumni all offered their praise and support.

As exciting it is to see Trixie and Bob teaming up again, we hope Katya's break helps her heal. The Trixie And Katya Show airs on February 28 on Viceland.
