Katy Perry jokes about running away from love after catching wedding bouquet
Katy Perry just attended her brother's wedding but when it came to catching the bouquet, she might have had a different reaction than expected.
Katy Perry might love the idea of being in love but when it knocks on her door, she is the first one to run in the other direction and her recent Instagram post just proves that. On February 14, Katy shared a video which was taken during her brother, David's wedding.
In the video, one can see the eager bride waiting to throw the bouquet to the much-awaited enthusiastic bunch of ladies. Among everyone, Katie happened to be the lucky one who got her hands on it and she did not waste a minute to show her happiness.
As soon as the Unconditional singer got the bouquet, she ran like there was no tomorrow! Quite ironically, Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” played in the background as Katy made her way through the crowd and ran away from the other girls.
“When you crave companionship but run from love when you get it,” Katy captioned the clip. “Happy made-up holiday of forced love,” she added in a hashtag. “I love myself. I love you too.” These comments come amid the speculation that Katy and Orlando Bloom are back together.
A source close to the couple told The Sun that the two decided to rekindle their romance after a romantic holiday. The source also suggested that this time around, Katy plans on doing things a bit differently and make sure that this time around, the relationship works.
“They’re back on,” the source said. “Katy wants to make things work this time around. She tried, but she couldn’t cut him off. She cares too much about him. This time, they’re keeping things low key – but they’re back together.” The rumors about them getting back together started surfacing after the pair was seen enjoying a holiday in the Maldives last month.
Since then, the two have liked each other's various social media posts and commented on a couple of them. However, they have not yet confirmed the news.
