Kanye West's name has been removed from the ballot as he failed to meet a requirement that 13 people should pledge support for his campaign

Kanye West has been making a lot of news off-late but for all the wrong reasons. The Grammy-winning artist had announced his presidential bid in July and since then his each and every word concerned with the elections have turned into breaking news.

It seems the road to seek the highest position in the country is not going to be a cakewalk for the rapper. Now, for the latest, the rapper and record producer has been kicked off from Arizona and Virginia ballots by a judge. The ‘College Dropout’ hitmaker's name has been removed from the ballot as he failed to meet a requirement that 13 people should pledge support for his campaign. West has also been accused of using fraudulent means to obtain "elector oaths."

According to Fox News, this comes after the Virginia Board of Elections had announced last week that the American rapper had met the requirement of 5,000 petition signatures and 13 electors who pledged to support the artist.

This news of his removal has created an uproar among social media users. A lot of followers stormed Twitter to talk about the big news and shared their opinions on the matter. Asking to boycott West and his celebrity wife Kim Kardashian, one user stated, “Kanye is a fraud, and traitor to Democracy & all Americans. Tired of narcissistic, vacuous, superficial  Kardashian family, traitors to democracy + future of ALL Americans. BOYCOTT fascist Kardashians, enablers of deadly, corrupt, racist, EVIL, moron Trump + GOP enablers.”

Shortly after announcing his 2020 presidential candidacy, critics had speculated that West — considering his late registration —may be running to split votes between the Republican Party nominee, Trump, and his political rival Biden.

Voicing the same, another user posted, “The effort to get the sick with mental illness Kanye West on the ballot as a third-party candidate in several key states is increasingly looking like an operation run by trump’s Republicans layers that is aimed at diverting votes from J. Biden.”

Another user took to the micro-blogging site and asserted, “All Biden fans need to boycott Kanye West (who I used to like) another way Trump trying to steal the election!! He's a cheater n a criminal! Criminal n chief now killer n chief.” An angry social media user also said: "Time to arrest him for fraud. One night in jail and he (or his mother-in-law or his wife or his therapist) will pull the plug on this whole tragic stunt. Self absorbed + fame driven + chemical imbalance + mitch mcconnell = destroyed."

Asking to boycott West’s music and all his products, one follower posted, “A vote for Kanye is a treasonous vote! Anyone serious about #BLM should not vote for Kanye and they SHOULD boycott his music, and any and all products, productions, etc...etc..KANYE WEST IS A TRAITOR TO #BLM AND TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION!!”

Prior to this, the 43-year-old musician made headlines when he said he has got more money than Trump when he was questioned about his involvement in ballot efforts.
