The women co-hosts on 'The View' held nothing back as they slammed POTUS Donald Trump on the show.

On Friday, May 1, the co-hosts joined together to call out Trump's "great American comeback" promotions and ads that started with his highlight his actions and attitude towards coronavirus. Meghan McCain shared that Trump's ad is a "huge, huge misfire".

Joy Behar eventually had the last word and dissed Trump's obsession with Hunter Biden. "Be prepared for Joe Biden’s assault of onslaught ads. He just has to quote you. That’s all he has to do," Behar shared, The Decider reports.

'The View' had been pre-taped and so the hosts were not able to address Biden's 'Morning Joe' interview regarding Tara Reade. Reade had said that she was a sexual assault victim but had not named Biden who is running against Trump. Biden has denied the allegations made against him and said on Friday, "I'm saying unequivocally: it never, never happened."

'The View' panel did discuss the 2020 candidate while talking about Trump's ad campaigns. The ads feature footage of various governors praising the administrations' efforts and response to deal with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It has been reported that the campaign is expected to spend up to seven figures on nationwide advertising touting Trump's performance.

Longtime host Whoopi Goldberg asked, "Is focusing on this great job that he thinks he’s doing — is it going to backfire?" Behar was the first to respond and said, "Is he going to talk about how slow he was informing the public about the seriousness of the pandemic?"

It was also reported that the campaign will follow up with a second set of ads that will be targeting Biden. The move comes as reports last week revealed that Trump's political advisers had briefed him on internal polling showing him trailing behind Biden in battleground states, Politico reports.

Behar also highlighted the second wave of Trump ads which shows his campaign falsely suggesting that Biden and his son Hunter have been "soft" on China amid the coronavirus outbreak. "This other part of blaming Hunter, talking about Hunter Biden is not going to fly," she added.

She also shared that people are a lot more concerned about losing their jobs, livelihoods, and homes rather than Biden's son. "They don’t care about your claims of nepotism, especially when every one of your family members except for Barron has a cushy White House job," she revealed.

Behar's co-host Meghan McCain chimed in saying that Trump's governor's ad is a mistake. "This is not a moment in time to be bragging." She explained that any other "conservative president" would have chosen the uplifting Reagan route.

"But instead, he’s focusing on his ego … had he come out with something inspirational it just would have been much more effective," McCain added.

Sunny Hostin joined in the conservation and stated, "Trump is self-imploding. We’re all living through this, [and] he can’t really rewrite history at this point." Hostin added that she would like to know what Biden's plans are with regard to helping the country get back up post the coronavirus pandemic.

"We all know what’s going on. Donald Trump is doing a pretty good job of ruining the country," Hostin shared.
