Joe Biden finds Trump's call a 'blatant misuse of power' and says it's hard not to deem it an 'impeachable offense'

Former Vice President and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" hours after the White House submitted the transcript of the call between President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to the House Democrats as part of the impeachment inquiry that was started against the POTUS.

During his interview, he opened up about his views on the transcript of the call and if it was incriminating enough to impeach Trump. He began by saying that whatever has been happening for the last couple of days is "bizarre" but not only because they were personal attacks against him and his family.

"What I do worry about is all the other families who cant take care of themselves. What's happening with this president and his constant diversions... Look we wanna get his attention, have 70 polls in a row showing you're beating him... I think that's why I am the object of his attention," he said.

Biden added: "The idea that someone would call the head of a foreign state ahead of time with the whole significant military aid that's badly needed... and then ask basically, 'Can you cooperate with Rudy Giuliani's coming over' and the thing we all learned... the 2000-word statement released that he talked about getting the Justice Department engaged to this. It's just blatant abuse of power... I don't think it can stand."

When Kimmel asked Biden if he thought "this particular instance is an impeachable offense," the former VP replied, "Based on the material that they acknowledged today, it seems to me that it is awfully hard to avoid the conclusion that it is an impeachable offense and a violation of constitutional responsibility."

The 76-year-old frontrunner, however, added that it was the Senate's job and not his to pass judgment on the matter. "My job is to go out and flat beat him," he said.
