Jennifer Lopez is basking in the glow of her Netflix documentary 'Halftime', but her diva behavior is never far from the headlines. The latest to shed light on her diva demands is singer Dannii Minogue, who on her podcast said that the 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' star threatened to refuse to perform on iconic British show 'Top of the Pops' in the late 90s if her demands for a redecorated backstage room wasn't met.

Speaking in her podcast 'The 90s with Dannii Minogue', Dannii alleged Lopez instructed bosses of the show that "everything had to be white" otherwise she wouldn’t go ahead with her performance. The demand was to turn everything in the room white, including the sofas.

"And while you hear those diva stories, there is one I can actually vouch for," Dannii told her listeners.

"I was at Top of the Pops and was told Jennifer Lopez was on her way, but she refused to perform unless her backstage room was redecorated. I was told everything had to be white, including the sofa," she continued. "I asked to go in and see the room as she wasn’t there in that moment… I was lapping up every detail."

Dannii added she was baffled by the color choice, especially considering Jennifer would be covered in beauty products. "All I could think was, 'Girlfriend is covered head to toe in body makeup. How do you sit on a white couch?'," she added.

Jennifer's representatives are yet to comment on the claim.

Meanwhile, Jennifer is busy celebrating the release of her Netflix documentary 'Halftime'. In the documentary, the popstar was seen musing on her career and how she almost gave up when the pressure to maintain her curvy form got to be too much. There were numerous occasions when she thought about giving up. She further said, "I had to figure out who I was. And believe in that and not believe in anything else."

When JLo first appeared on the scene in 1997, her curvy body type was a rarity. As she explains in 'Halftime', "When I started working, the beauty ideal was really skinny, blonde, tall, with not a lot of curves. I grew up around curvy people, so I never felt ashamed of it. When you believe that you are being used as a punchline in a joke, it is difficult." She continued, "But it turned up influencing things in a manner that I never intended," noting that her fiancé at the time, Ben Affleck, was taken aback by the criticism.
