Jeff Bezos only has the biggest and best and that's the way it will stay. The Amazon founder and Washington Post owner recently put down $23 million in cash for the former Textile Museum in the ritzy Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C., with aims to make the already record-setting home (it’s the largest home in Washington at 27,000 square feet) even more epic with a $12 million planned renovation.

Once the renovation is complete, Bezos’s new megamansion will actually comprise two properties, historic buildings called the Pope and the Wood, and will have a staggering litany of rooms.
