YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has taken direct shots at US President Joe Biden in a tweet that has sent Twitter users into a frenzy. He channeled his frustration at Biden and listed a couple of reasons for the same, calling the voters 'the American problem' if they didn't regret voting for the Democrat. This comes in the wake of the current economic situation of the United States as inflation reached 8.6 per cent in May for the first time since 1981.

The controversial entertainer tweeted, "Biden accomplishments 1. Highest gas prices 2. Worst inflation 3. Plummeting crypto prices 4. Highest rent prices ever 5. Created new incomprehensible language. If you’re reading this and voted for Biden and you still don’t regret it then you are the American problem." Joe Biden has been constantly receiving a lot of backlash for increasing gas prices, high rent prices, and the overall condition of the greatest country. However, there are a lot of Biden supporters as well. Recently, Biden hit the spotlight again when he blamed former President Donald Trump for not taking any concrete action on gun control.

Jake Paul knows how to stir up drama with his endless controversies, be it allegedly scamming his young followers, getting fired from a Disney series mid-season, or putting up videos with racial slurs. Now, the boxer is right away going for the President. The current situation in the US was due to the Russia-Ukraine war when western countries imposed sanctions on Russian oil that pulled more than 1 million barrels of oil off the global market. However, the real problem started with the Covid pandemic.

Supporters defend Biden after Jake Paul's tweet

While Jake Paul's tweet seemed rational to many people on social media, others defended Biden from further attacks. One user replied to Paul's tweet, "Lol… man, you don’t understand it do you? I really wish we could see it would be the EXACT same if Trump were in office still lol THE COUNTRY OPENED BACK UP… actually the WORLD opened back up… “American problem” whole globe going through it… wake up."

Another user replied to the tweet, "American politics is a s**tshow but how are you gonna blame him for crypto? inflation and high gas prices is a result of sanctions against Russia war in ukraine. Rent I can see being his fault but the other 3 you cant hold against him unless you want him to fund Russias invasion?"

One user tried to tackle Paul's tweet and said, "Biden doesn’t pick gas prices, biden doesn’t control inflation, biden doesn’t control the stock market (also don’t rely on crypto), biden doesn’t control rent prices, idk what language your talking about. in other words RATIO."

Another user wrote, "Hey Jake, the rise in prices isn’t solely a USA problem. Post-pandemic demand and the war in Ukraine escalated this to a global issue. USA’s current inflation is = 8.6% Many other countries are feeling the pain: Spain = 8.7% Germany = 7.9% United Kingdom = 9%."
