LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The heart-pounding action, thrilling espionage, and high-stakes returns with ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ Season 4. As one of the most beloved characters in the world of espionage, Jack Ryan once again takes center stage, navigating treacherous paths and facing formidable adversaries. In the first two episodes, Jack, who is now the Deputy Director of CIA finds himself entangled in high-stake mission. While he forges an alliance with Domingo Chavez to get to the truth, things go awry with their plan.

In the third episode of the final chapter of 'Jack Ryan', Jack chooses to resign from his position as Deputy Director at the CIA to uncover the conspiracies surrounding the threat. He does this out of concern for the safety of the CIA, believing that his continued presence puts the agency at risk. James Greer is appointed as his successor. Meanwhile, Chavez warns his grandfather about the Triad, but Mike tracks him down to obtain a new lead for their next mission. After resigning, Jack, Mike, and Chavez travel to Mexico to locate Chao Fah's marketplace to capture him, as he holds crucial information about the threat. In another storyline, Cathy is focused on advancing her organization's goals with Zeyara. Chao Fah kills his brother-in-law after discovering that he knew about his plan to leave the cartel safely and reunite with his family. The episode concludes with Jack, Mike, and Chavez obtaining the location of Chao Fah's marketplace from Chavez's cousin, who is directly involved in the threat.

Why did Jack Ryan resign as Deputy Director of the CIA?

Following the failure of Jack and Chavez's plan involving Thomas Miller in 'Jack Ryan' Season 4, Jack convinces President Bachler that he poses a threat to the CIA. To uncover the imminent threat surrounding the agency, he decides to resign from his position and suggests James Greer as his replacement. Jack takes this risk to protect his country. After Mike tracks down Chavez in California using his tattoo, Jack later joins them, enjoying what could be Chavez's "last night”.

Meanwhile, in Myanmar, it is revealed that the Triad is involved in more than just drug trafficking, they are also engaged in human trafficking under Chao Fah's operation. Although Fah intends to exit the game, his plans take a drastic turn after Miller's death. Moreover, Fah's brother-in-law, Soe Wai, discovers Fah's intention to quit, leading to him killing Soe and framing him as the mole in front of Tin Tun.

As for Dr. Cathy Mueller, she becomes increasingly interested in Zeyara's cause and considers making a deal with her to help her foundation combat drug and human trafficking in Nigeria. However, the question arises, Could Zeyara's cause be a dangerous ploy to entangle Cathy in a deadly plot?

Chavez strikes a deal with police inspector Morales in Mexico to intercept his cousin's shipment at the port, luring him to the location. When he arrives, Morales escorts him to meet Chavez, Jack, and Mike. They exert pressure on him to disclose the location of Chao Fah's marketplace, which turns out to be in Croatia.
