With the 2020 Presidential election around the corner, the White House is a hotbed of events. In a recent interview, Ivanka Trump expressed her opinion on her future as the Presidential Advisor, according to a report by Daily Mail.

She said if her father, President Donald Trump, is elected for a second term in the 2020 elections, she may or may not continue to serve as his advisor. The 38-year old First Daughter also shared that her decision would be based on her children and how her family fits in with her political career.

In a detailed television interview, she also touched upon her interest in making her own run for the office. However, she did not confirm or refute any questions or statements on the President's current impeachment inquiry.

She said her future in the Trump administration is "driven first and foremost by my kids and their happiness." She added, "My decisions will always be flexible enough to ensure that their needs are being considered first and foremost. So they will really drive that answer for me."

As an entrepreneur and advisor to the POTUS, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, relocated to Washington DC from New York City in 2017, after her father took office.

Kushner also holds a special advisory role at the White House. During their work at the presidential office, the couple has been known to have clashed with conservative members of the Trump administration.

When asked about her opinion on the current situations revolving around Trump, Ivanka refused to confirm or deny any knowledge of any information, or even her understanding of Rudy Guiliani, who is currently counseling Trump.

Rudy Giuliani, a former New York City mayor, has been at the heart of the Ukrainian scandal that had led to Trump's impeachment earlier this month.

However, as the daughter or the advisor of the POTUS, Ivanka has not made any comments on the same. However, she did mention that "more than 50 percent of America did not think that the President should have been impeached."

Earlier in December this year, Trump was impeached in the House of Representatives for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
