First Daughter Ivanka Trump has been quietly urging her father President Donald Trump to concede the election to President-elect Joe Biden. It is believed that Ivanka is concerned for her own future and is setting her sights on a future White House run, insiders have told Daily Mail. Former VP Biden was named as the President-elect on Saturday, November 7, which led to widespread celebrations across the country.

However, Trump has refused to accept defeat and has been making claims of voter fraud. He has also filed several lawsuits after Biden was seen leading in several swing states. Even First Lady Melania Trump has spoken out about the "illegal votes".

Ivanka, on the other hand, has been silent on social media ever since Friday, November 6. It was reported that behind closed doors, Ivanka has been urging her father to concede and spoke during a staff meeting where she said that it was an "honor to serve the people and people should be happy with what they accomplished."

A source close to the Trump family said, "Ivanka has her own agenda. She's has had her eyes on the desk behind the Oval Office since day one and she's not about to burn any bridges by mouthing off like Don Jr who keeps lashing out on Twitter," according to Daily Mail.

"Everything she puts out is calculated and well thought out because she's always looking at the big picture," the insider continued. Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner has also been reportedly urging his father-in-law to throw in the towel and graciously accept defeat. He has also been urging Trump to drop all the lawsuits and focus on the next election, four years from now.

Meanwhile, many social media users shared that it's too late for Ivanka and that she would never be POTUS. One such user shared, "No more Trumps in the White House, they destroy our country." Another added, "Nobody likes Ivanka and the left tries to play her up because they knew she's subversive to her father's agenda." A user commented, "She can eye the White House all she wants @IvankaTrump will never be elected."

The source revealed that the Trump family is in "essentially a tug of war with Jared and Ivanka on one side and Don Jr and Eric on the other." The source added, "Melania keeps her cards close – no one really know what she’s thinking." The insider also revealed that Ivanka is not the only child eyeing the White House and Donald Trump Jr is hoping to take a shot at it.

"Don Jr likes to think that he is the one who will eventually take over the reigns with Kimberly [Guilfoyle] by his side, but Melania would be the first to admit that this will never happen because he doesn't have the smarts like Donald and at best will get his own show on Fox News," the source shared.

"Melania said just like her husband, Don Jr likes to hear himself talk and doesn't know when to stop," the insider continued. "Unlike her brother, Ivanka has the full support of her father who will do anything to see his princess follow in his footsteps. Donald likes to brag that they are like two peas in a pod and that just like him, Ivanka is a charismatic born leader that the people love. He prides himself on the idea that she too will one day be President," the source added.
