LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The wedding bells are ringing for Good Morning America’s leading anchor, Robin Roberts, and her longtime partner Amber Laign. The 62-year-old announced earlier this year that the duo would get married by the end of the year and it seems like she is going to keep her word.

However, there has been an unexpected twist in the wedding preparations. In the latest episode of ‘GMA’, co-hosts Rebecca Jarvis and George Stephanopoulos revealed that Robin and Amber’s bachelorette party will be held in the ‘GMA’ studio live on air, next week.

‘GMA’ to host Robin and Amber’s bachelorette party

In an unusual and unprecedented moment, a bachelorette party of a morning show host will be held on live air where viewers will be active participants in the whole shenanigans. This news came out when Rebecca Jarvis spoke about it on the morning show with Robin and George next to her. It was a little unexpected for many but the bachelorette is scheduled for next week in the studio.

When Rebecca announced the news, Robin was all smiles. However, it was George who quickly intervened with a pertinent question to the soon-to-be-married bride. George teased, “Could 14-year-old Robin Roberts imagine she’d be having a bachelorette party on national television?”

Robin giggled and quickly replied, “No,” and after a brief pause said, “Especially to a woman!” Everyone in the studio burst into laughter at Robin’s joke with George and Rebecca failing to contain their laughter for a long time.

This will be a memorable moment for all fans and followers of Robin and Amber, who will become a part of the celebration. It is also a unique way to have everyone gather before the big day.

Robin and Amber first met back in 2005 after being set up on a blind date by friends, Since then, the duo have stood tall with each other and, after 18 years of love and affection, they decided to tie the knot.
