If the latest rumors surrounding Marveltown is anything to go by, reports suggest that Ironheart is being pushed into a series development at Disney+.

According to a tweet from Thomas Polito, one of the scoopers in the industry, the rumor says Marvel Studios is currently taking in pitches from screenwriters but is yet to zero-in on a project. Should this be true, then it looks like we will be seeing Riri Williams a lot sooner in the Marvel Universe.

Riri Williams, one of the imaginary characters in the comics, is a 15-year-old MIT student and tech genius who built her own Iron Man-like suit in her dorm out of parts discarded by Stark Industries and garners Stark's attention. Just like Peter Parker, she too is mentored by Iron Man and goes on to become a superhero. But with no Riri references in the MCU so far, it may look like Morgan Stark may have a role to play and might just end up becoming Iron Heart. Controversial, but not impossible.

Fans on their part are hoping that it would indeed be Riri and not Morgan. Responding to Polito's tweet, one fan said: "She’s a character on her own and from the comics directly connected to stark." Another echoed the sentiment by tweeting, "Riri or nothing".

One fan in particular still thought Morgan would be a better fit— "Why not just wait until Morgan is able to take up the mantle of Iron Man instead of shoehorning a character push an agenda?" To which he received a response that read: "It better not be Morgan, give me Riri Williams."

Previously, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President, had teased the possibility of new characters foraying into the MCU. The Ironheart series comes in perfectly as the world is now without Iron Man after his tragic, yet heroic death in 'Avengers: Endgame'. According to Comicbook, Feige has spoken about Riri saying he would like to see her soon. "I think it's a great character, and it's been fun to see how she evolves in the comics," Feige said.

Also to be noted is the fact that a Ms. Marvel series is already in development, meaning the Young Avengers could already be in formation. If this rumor does turn out to be true, then it is safe to assume the Young Avengers is most definitely a possibility.
