'Interview with the Vampire' Season 2 will begin streaming on AMC+ on May 12, 2024. The series is based on 'The Vampire Chronicles' by Anne Rice. The second season continues the story of Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) who is turned into a vampire by Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) who falls in love with him.
The second season features a key cast change in the role of Claudia, a 14-year-old vampire stuck in her teenage forever, who will be played by Delainey Hayles in place of Bailey Bass. The makers will handle the change in the cast with a simple title card indicating the change.
What happened in 'Interview with the Vampire' Season 1?
'Interview with the Vampire' follows the story of Louis, a 145-year-old vampire who wants to redo an unpublished interview with journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).
The season deals with Louis' continuous conflict with humanity and his relationship with Lestat who is continually frustrated at Louis being in touch with his human side. It also involves Claudia who is turned into a vampire by Lestat at the insistence of Louis.
The season ended with a revelation of Rashid (Assad Zaman), who was a servant to Louis, actually being an ancient vampire Armand.
What is the plot of 'Interview with the Vampire' Season 2?
'Interview with the Vampire' is expected to discover the story of Armand and his side of the story. The series will also see the continuation of the interview with Daniel and deal with the complicated power struggle between Armand and Daniel.
Armand is going to be Louis' primary love interest in the series. The series will feature Louis once again trying to revenge and atone for the events of his life.

He shot to fame with his role in 'Hotel Portofino' in 2022 where he played the role of Dr Anish Sengupta. In 'Interview with the Vampire', he gets to play the main role of Armand who will be a significant character in the second season.
Sam Reid
Sam Reid is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His performance in 'Lambs of God' and 'The Newsreader' shot him to fame.
He played the lead role in 'The Hunting' and 'Prime Suspect 1973' which were both acclaimed. He won the award for Outstanding Performance at the Equity Ensemble Awards for his performance in 'The Newsreader'.
