Trump calls Biden 'ill-equipped' to rebuild economy, Angry Internet says 'you're the one who wrecked it!'
Donald Trump is quite popular among Twitter users for his tweets targeting former Vice President and presidential nominee Joe Biden who also uses the platform to take subtle digs at the POTUS. On July 12, Trump once again dragged Biden on his efficiency in working towards the economy of the country while slamming him for other issues.
Trump's tweet read, "Does anyone notice that the real Polls, as opposed to the Fake Suppression Polls also used in 2016, are starting to define Sleepy Joe Biden as someone totally ill-equipped to control the Radical Left, Crime, Cancel Culture, or to even come close to me on REBUILDING THE ECONOMY?"
However, it turns out, people on social media have a rather different opinion about Trump's statement, as many slammed him instead for accusing Biden of being "ill-equipped" while it was Trump's administration that is failing to curb the coronavirus pandemic in the US. One user tweeted, "How about THESE numbers @realDonaldTrump !??! The LEADING cause of DEATH in America is @realDonaldTrump. And he doesn’t CARE. He would step over hundreds of thousands of American bodies to win REELECTION."
Another added, "Excuse me Mr President. Are you going to address the Covid-19 pandemic today? Or perhaps you’re just going to pardon a few more of your CRIMINAL friends & continue to pretend that everything is fine?" An agitated user noted, “#TrumpGate Since he was impeached nothing has changed with the most corrupt president in our history."
Some have slammed Trump for talking about rebuilding an economy that they believe was destroyed by him. "Why would anyone want *you* to rebuild the economy? You're the one who wrecked it!" wrote one angry user while another added, "Does anyone notice that our deteriorating president has gone completely off the rails."
Meanwhile, a few Twitter users expressed their dissatisfaction in Trump's administration and stated that they wouldn't vote for him, regardless of his opinion about other candidates. "We the American People, plan to CANCEL your Apprentice Presidency on November 3, 2020. It's going to be a HUGE defeat. It's going to be a HISTORIC defeat. It's going to be a HUMILIATING defeat. And you deserve it, you DESERVE it."
