Internet shuts down Marjorie Taylor Greene after she asks Alejandro Mayorkas to 'honorably resign' after failed impeachment attempt

Marjorie Taylor Greene doubled down on her stance against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas

WASHINGTON, DC: Only a few days ago, the House “killed” Marjorie Taylor Greene's attempt to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

However, that did not stop Rep Greene from continuing to hold her stance against Mayorkas.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Greene openly stated that Secretary Mayorkas’ “days are numbered,” and that it is time for him to “resign.”

Greene also shared a clip of her directly addressing Mayorkas at the Capitol, where reiterated her statement and said “You can honorably resign, or we are going to impeach you.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene addressed the southern border crisis and Alejandro Mayorkas, and wrote, “The days are numbered for Secretary Mayorkas. Our southern border is being invaded and Americans are being murdered every day on his watch.”

She added, “It's time for Secretary Mayorkas to resign, and if he doesn’t he’s going to be impeached.”

MTG also shared a clip of herself when she directly spoke to Mayorkas, “Secretary Mayorkas, I want you to look at these innocent Americans. Do you see them?” asked Greene as she held up a photo of an American couple.

Greene continued, “They are dead. They’re from Dalton, Georgia in my district, they are dead because a 17-year-old, likely affiliated with the cartels was smuggling illegal aliens into our country in Texas, breaking our laws, and this happens every single day in our country.”

“Earlier this week, 8 Republicans joined the Democrats and protected your job, but I want you to know, that you have a short time coming, you can honorably resign, or we are going to impeach you, and it has happening very very soon,” said Greene.

Greene continued to face backlash on social media as one user said, “You failed already and you will fail again, because that’s what you are…A failure.”
