CBS aired 'Yellowstone' instead of 'Big Brother' Season 25 Episode 23 due to scheduling conflicts with NFL

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Episode 23 of 'Big Brother' Season 25 was supposed to air on Sunday, September 24 at 10 pm on CBS. However, viewers got to see episodes of 'Yellowstone' instead of 'Big Brother' and penned their outrage on social media.

'Big Brother' was delayed due to the afternoon and early evening NFL coverage on CBS. The reality TV show is quite intense not just for the contestants but for viewers as well considering that they can watch the houseguests' plot and play all day every day via the numerous livestreams available online.

However, after 'Big Brother' Season 25 was delayed around 45 minutes, furious viewers took to X, formerly Twitter as one fan of the show wrote, "Is #ParamountPlus playing #BigBrother25 #BB25 #BigBrother for you or #Yellowstone because i I stayed up late for something that’s not on!!!"

Another person tweeted, "I’ve got Yellowstone too I just saw a few tweets from others saying it’ll start at 10:45. Would’ve been nice for CBS to have put that out."

Another angry fan responded by saying, "45 minutes late?! CBS can go to hell."

Another social media user asked, "Why am I getting #Yellowstone episodes right now instead of the new #BigBrother25 #BigBrother #BB25 episode on paramount +?? It was supposed to be like at 10?!?!."

Another user said, "I’m getting real tired of Yellowstone running over my already late BB Time." A sixth person suggested, "CBS should not have a Sunday night primetime lineup if they are going to be consistently starting so late. Move #BB25 to Mondays."

Who got evicted in 'Big Brother' Season 25 Episode 22?

Cameron Hardin and Jared Fields were eliminated during the double eviction. However, in a shocking twist, host Julie Chen Moonves told both eliminees they would be returning as zombies.

Since this is 'Scary Week', there will be no 'Head of Household' challenge and no 'Power of Veto' competition. The viewers will witness the first-ever pair of 'BB' zombies fighting for their chance to return to the game.

In the episode, the fast-paced hour commenced with Cameron being evicted first, Cory winning Head of Household and nominating Jared and Blue, and Matt winning Veto and opting not to use it. However, Jared was the second to be evicted.

What is the schedule of 'Big Brother' Season 25?

'Big Brother' Season 25 airs three episodes a week - taped episodes on Sundays and Wednesdays from 8 pm to 9 pm ET, and live episodes on Thursdays from 9 pm to 10 pm ET. The new episodes are available to stream on Paramount+ the following day.

However, the episode schedule would be quite chaotic with the return of 'Survivor' and 'Amazing Race' to the CBS lineup. With those two shows taking up Wednesday nights, 'Big Brother' will move to air on Tuesday nights.

The premiere of the new shows would shift new episodes of 'Big Brother' Season 25 to Sundays at 10 pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays at 8 pm.
