When did Alfonso Ribeiro join ‘DWTS’?

Riberio joined the show 'Dancing With The Stars' as a co-host alongside Tyra Banks during Season 31.

Banks decided to leave the show after Season 31, however, Riberio resumed his role as the main host of the show in 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 along with Julianne Hough.

He is best noted for playing the role of Carlton Banks on the iconic ’90s sitcom 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.'

In the past, Ribeiro also participated in the dancing competition series. Back in the day, he won 'DWTS' Season 19 with his pro dance partner Witney Carson.

Along with this, he also made a guest appearance as a judge during Season 21 of the show.

Why did Julianne Hough return as co-host for ‘DWTS’ Season 32?

In an interview with Variety, Hough talked about her return to 'DWTS' and said, “The door has always been open for me to join or come back in any capacity because ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is my family. It’s where I feel the most myself and the most at home. The door was never, ever closed. We’ve always talked about coming back and in some sort of capacity."

She went on to say, “When the idea of coming back to host came around, it was truly a full circle moment. I’ve now been a part of the show in every role — being a professional dancer to judge to now hosting.”
