Season 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger and we saw the iconic Luke Skywalker making an appearance on the show, helping Mando and his crew. The upcoming third season of the Disney+ series might be set eight years after the ‘Return of the Jedi’ and will continue to move forward with stories in this timeline. We know that Din Djarin will be reunited with Grogu in the third edition while the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mando will be crossing paths with old allies as he and Grogu continue their journey together in a galaxy far, far away.
