How long is 'The Last of Us' Episode 3?
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Last of Us’ has once again proved that good storytelling and impeccable performances are two of the most important things needed to make a show a grand success. The series opened to a bumper response and that’s why the network didn’t waste much time renewing the series for another season. The first episode laid a strong foundation and gave a detailed look at how everyone got infected. Meanwhile, the second episode was all about Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Tess taking Ellie (Bella Ramsey) to the desired destination so that a vaccine or a cure could be made.
The second episode ended on a devastating note as Tess (Anna Torv) sacrificed herself after being bitten by one of the infected and fans are really excited to know that the third episode of the HBO series will be one of the biggest episodes of this season with a runtime of almost a feature-length movie.

How long Episode 3 of ‘The Last of Us’ will be?
According to the official website of HBO, the third episode of the post-apocalyptic series will be premiering exclusively on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, January 29, at 9 pm EST. The episode is going to be 80 minutes long, making it one of the biggest episodes in terms of runtime as compared to other HBO originals. The episode seems to be filled with a lot of violence and adult content because the warning label for the episode says, “adult language, adult content, and violence.”
This is the second time that an episode of ‘The Last of Us’ is touching the 80-minute mark. The premiere turned out to be the biggest debut for an original HBO series in terms of runtime and ran for 85 minutes. We know how enthralling the premiere and we expect the same from the upcoming episode as well.
What can be expected from Episode 3?
Titled ‘Long, Long Time’, the third episode of the series will see Joel and Ellie traveling to Lincoln to meet Bill (Nick Offerman) & Frank (Murray Bartlett). They are the only two people in Lincoln who managed to save themselves from the infection. Joel will be asking for help from Bill and would be needing a working car so that they can reach their destination without any difficulties. But it won’t be much easy for Joel to ask for help because Bill doesn’t shy away from killing people who get inside his territory and try to make his life miserable. That’s why Lincoln is like a fortress and Bill doesn’t let anyone enter the city. It will be interesting to see what kind of conversations they will have and how Joel and Ellie will manage to convince Bill to help them in their journey.
Things are getting more and more intense on ‘The Last of Us’ and it’s only going to get darker from here on.
