'How I Met Your Father' Episode 3 Fan Review: Latest chapter 'better than the last two'
'How I Met Your Father' was off to a better outing in Episode 3 that had fans pleasantly surprised. While it incorporated enough 'How I Met Your Mother' references and easter eggs, what it also hinted at was carving an identity for itself. The third episode titled 'The Fixer' sees Sophie (Hilary Duff) try and help Jesse jazz up his Tinder profile with a cool picture that would see him get as many dates as he could possibly imagine. The other side plots include Charlie and Ellen looking for an apartment, while Valentina helps Sid maintain his long-distance relationship.

"Sophie & Jesse seems more like Robin & Barney rather than Ted & Robin... just my opinion. #HIMYF," one the fans opined. "Wow I loved the third episode of How I Met Your Father. The characters are all so likable and yet relatable. Love all the side plots as well. Hilary Duff in particular does an amazing job playing Sophie who is completely different from Kelsey on Younger. #HIMYF," a comment read.
The positives continued. "@HIMYFonHulu episode 3 is awesome! If I’m being honest, I was worried about them revealing that she met the father that night in the first episode, but I really like what they did in episode 3 with that #HIMYF," a fan remarked. "I think #HIMYF is a perfectly acceptable follow up to #HIMYM. I won’t mind spending 20+ minutes a week with this crew. It has potential to become a pretty solid traditional multicam sitcom in a world where those seem to be waning a bit in popularity compared to even a decade ago," one of the tweets said.
"I'm on board for Jesse & Sophie. Nice to see Josh Peck though, want to see how that play out #HIMYF," said a fan on the chemistry between Sophie and Jesse. "Shit- they just made Drew a part of THE NIGHT Sophie met the Father. So now it’s up to FIVE POTENTIAL FATHERS??? #HowIMetYourFather #HIMYF," a fan wrote.
