How does Victor Gonzalez feel about his elimination? 'Love Island USA' Season 5 star opens up about not making any romantic connection
PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: The Saturday nights are for unseen bits in 'Love Island USA' Season 5. After the elimination of Victor Gonzalez from the show, Maura Higgins caught up with the star to know what he felt about the elimination. Victor was heavily slammed for being too real on the show.
He has been clear about his intentions toward Carmen Kocourek. He was invested in Carmen but she wanted to explore things with Carsten 'Bergie' Bergersen. This made Victor sad and indeed brought out his angry side on the show. Lashing out in anger made Victor the villain of the show.

How does Victor feel about his elimination from 'Love Island' USA Season 5?
In episode 11's unseen bits, we saw Victor sharing how he felt about the elimination to Maura. When asked, "What did that feel like? Did you feel like a bit disheartened or did you think to yourself, look, this is the competition at the end of the day, someone has to go home?" Victor replied, "At the end of the day, what you said, this is a competition. This is called 'Love Island' not 'Friendship Island.'" However, Victor claimed to be "sad" about leaving the show because he made friends on the show whom he missed after the elimination.
Victor reveals not making any romantic connection on 'Love Island USA' Season 5
Victor said in the unseen bits, "If I'm truly honest, I haven't made any connection, any romantic connection." Victor further added that if he had to stay in the house, he would have probably been waiting for someone new to enter the villa for him to make a romantic connection. To this, Maura asked, "So, there are no other girls that you would have liked, tried to connect with more, tried to chat more, that were currently in the villa." Victor replied that if there has been any connection between him and any other girl in the villa it would have been clear until now as it has been enough days for them to have been together in the villa.
Victor added, "I haven't felt any true connection with any." However, he agreed that he made friends with everyone in the villa. Despite being kicked out of the villa, Victor is happy that he has been true to his values in the villa.
