'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 21 Preview: Is Miranda really dating someone or is it a ploy to get Calvin back?

Malik got his stripper girlfriend Lisa pregnant at the beginning of Season 9, and that was never mentioned again... So hopefully, we can talk about that

Well, if you were missing the Calvin (Lance Gross) and Miranda (Keshia Pulliam) drama, it's coming back in full force by the next episode. Hardcore fans of the show would remember how Miranda asked Calvin for divorce on their anniversary, as trouble had been simmering between them for ages. While viewers were still divided on who's right or wrong, it came as a surprise to everyone when Calvin announced that he was in love with Laura, and wanted to move on from Miranda. For a long time, Miranda was unable to let this go, and tried to convince him to get back. They even shared a kiss, but that was never mentioned ever again, either. It was clear that they still had feelings for each other, and could not find it in themselves to move on.  Instead, later, Calvin confessed that he was madly in love with Laura. Laura told Calvin about how Miranda had warned her that he hadn't been a good husband and he had a wandering eye. Nevertheless, Laura seemed to still want to move on with Calvin, and they shared a kiss. Miranda walked in on them kissing, and we never got to know what happened after that. 

And then we spent what seems like a decade on Kaleb and Jazmine (China Anne McClaine), and the never-ending vape pen discussion. We hope that storyline sorts itself out soon, because the show has a habit of starting a thread and switching gears quickly.

The synopsis reads, "Malik and Lisa have different must-watch television shows airing at the same time, but only one television. Malik and Lisa have a terrible argument. CJ and Malik suspect that Miranda is going on a date only to make Calvin jealous."

Most likely, Miranda is pulling a fast one on Calvin, as she hopes that he will come around and fall in love with her again. It remains to be seen if Calvin decides to give his relationship with Miranda again, or he moves on for good.
