'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 18 Preview: Will CJ kick Jazmine's boyfriend Kaleb out of her life for good?
'House Of Payne' might have dragged on the vape pen for what seems like eternity, but it seems as if that might just come to a close...soon. If you might remember, CJ (Allen Payne) and Janine (Demetria McKinney) discovered a vape pen in Jazmine's (China Anne McClain) pocket. They tried talking to her about it, and it was revealed later that it belonged to her boyfriend Kaleb. Kaleb is every boyfriend a parent fears, and CJ throws him out of the house as he seems to have no goal or anything in life.
Later, they have a calm conversation with Jazmine, in the hope that she won't follow the same path Janine did, in terms of drug abuse. However, it was revealed at the beginning of the season, that Kaleb was pressuring Jazmine into having sex, and this fact was brought up again a while ago, before the vape pen took centrestage. This will again be addressed in the season finale, and it is upto CJ and Janine to rescue Jazmine from Kaleb, or at least have his conversation with her. Meanwhile, Curtis (LaVan Davis) got his hands on the vape pen, and hasn't been talking straight for the past few episodes. Ella, who is normally quite sensible, has been using the vape pen too. And so, it's upto Floyd to save Ella and Curtis from themselves.
The synopsis for the next episode reads, "Floyd discovers Ella’s secret. Ella claims she didn’t smoke although her lipstick was found on the vape pen. Floyd and Kaleb take care of Ella and Curtis."
The story of Miranda (Keshia Knight Pulliam) and Calvin (Lance Gross) still remains forgotten, and lying by the wayside. Most of the season was spent on their sordid tale, and whether they would finally get back together after years of seperation. Miranda wanted to give her relationship with Calvin a second chance, but he had moved on with Laura, by that time. Miranda and Calvin even shared a kiss, something that wasn't even addressed later. The season finale is approaching and there's a lot to be tied up.
'House Of Payne' airs on BET, Wednesdays, at 8 pm.
